Joe Bannon

Joe Bannon has more than 30 years of experience spanning environmental, contract management, compliance, real estate, and due diligence in the regulated and IPP areas.

During construction of the Solar Star facility, a $2.4 B, 586-megawatt solar power plant, he oversaw compliance with the Engineering, Procurement and Construction contract and Large Generator Interconnection Agreement. After it transitioned to operations, he served as the Primary Point of Contact with the utility offtaker of the Power Purchase Agreement.

Other experience includes working with Cyrq Energy, Berkshire Hathaway Energy Renewables, and MidAmerican Energy where he monitored asset performance for solar, wind and geothermal plants and oversaw environmental compliance.

Joe earned a Bachelor of Science, Geology, from Keene State College and a Master’s of Science, Journalism, from the University of Illinois.
