Kaushal Desai

Kaushal began his career as a power systems automation and control engineer at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL), where he supported projects from initial design through commissioning. Over time, his role expanded to include engineering leadership and project delivery for utility and industrial clients across the United States.

Most recently, Kaushal worked at Stem, where he partnered with developers, utilities, and independent power producers to support the design, procurement, integration, and commissioning of utility-scale energy storage projects.

Kaushal holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from UNC Charlotte and a Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from Gujarat University in India.
