Reid Strand

Reid brings over 15 years of finance experience to Peregrine, nearly all of which have been in the energy sector. Prior to joining Peregrine, he was Vice President of Structured Finance at BayWa r.e. Solar Projects, where he led project finance, capital structuring and divestment efforts for the development business. During his nearly 8 years at BayWa, his team raised over $600M of 3rd party capital and divested over 2 GW of projects. His responsibilities at BayWa also spanned the IPP business, which included portfolio management, performance monitoring and overall finance coverage. Reid started his career in the oil and gas sector in Houston, where he held several roles in investment banking, transaction advisory and corporate development.

Reid is an avid sports fan and enjoys the outdoors. He earned a B.Sc. in Finance from Indiana University, where he was a member of the men’s tennis team, and an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA.
