Gaurav Mehta

Gaurav brings with him more than 14 years of experience in renewable interconnection, transmission strategy, power markets, development engineering & negotiation of interconnection agreements. Gaurav started his renewable energy career at NYISO in generator interconnection, transmission planning, and capacity market studies. Gaurav also worked at PJM interconnection in interregional transmission planning, generator interconnection where he led MISO affected system studies for a number of years and managed the relationships with MISO-PJM developers and utilities. Gaurav also worked at Enel Green Power where he was a part of the Business Development team which successfully acquired 4GW of solar & storage projects in PJM. Prior to joining Peregrine Energy, Gaurav held the similar position at Lightsource BP & was supporting M&A, greenfield strategy, and development of renewable projects across the US.

Gaurav enjoys craft beer, skiing, traveling & trying new restaurants. Gaurav holds a Bachelor’s in Electrical engineering from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, Master’s in Electrical Engineering from State University of New York, Buffalo & MBA in Finance & Business Analytics from Villanova University, Pennsylvania.
