Clay Canning

Clay leads the development of renewable projects at Peregrine Energy from prospecting through commercial operation. Clay started his career in renewable energy development at NextEra Energy Resources where he executed multiple power purchase agreements and build-own-transfer transactions. Prior to Peregrine Energy, he worked at BayWa r.e. where he further expanded his development experience across new markets. Clay earned an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy.
